As its name implies The Old Forge housed the farm's blacksmith until the 1930s. It remained a workshop until 1994. This self-catering holiday cottage retains its traditional charm and features combined with all the comforts of modern living. Bright open plan seating, dining and kitchen area with original exposed beams.
Across the courtyard there is a spacious games barn, which has a full size snooker table, pool table.
Please note we do have Wi-Fi but it can be very intermittent also the mobile phone reception depends on your provider so there is a possibility of you having no signal.
Shop and Café (Andy’s General Store - wines, spirits, newspapers, snacks and sundries) Open 7 days a week from 7am - 7pm. - 0.7 miles Pub - The Crown in East Rudham: 1.9 miles (less than 5 minute drive).

Sitting Room: Attractively furnished, includes WiFi, colour TV, DVD and CD hi-fi.
Kitchen: Electric cooker, fridge and freezer, microwave, washing machine.
Dining Area: Dining table four chairs and church pew.
Bedroom 1: 2 single beds.
Bathroom: Bath with over-bath shower, wash basin and w.c.
First Floor:
Bedroom 2: Galleried with 1 double bed.

Garden: Each cottage has its own walled patio garden with garden furniture and barbecue.
Games barn: Superb large bright and airy games barn across the courtyard housing a snooker table, pool table, table tennis and cozy furniture.
Parking: For two cars for each property.
Heating: O.F.C.H.
Also Provided: Towels and bed linen. Cot ,high chairs and stair gates available on request
Pets: Well behaved dogs are welcome in property. Please be aware of our booking information regarding pets, there is a £20 fee per pet per stay.
