Whether you go walking, cycling, bird watching or touring, the cottages are ideal as a base to explore the beautiful countryside, many beaches and countless other attractions that North Norfolk has to offer.

Each of the four holiday cottages has retained its own unique character while offering attractive and comfortable accommodation. Kitchens and bathrooms are well planned and equipped, and all rooms are furnished with style.  All holiday cottages are rated three-star (Gold) by the English Tourism Council.

Each holiday cottage has its own walled patio with barbecue and garden furniture, while the four holiday cottages together share a large games barn housing snooker, pool  and other amenities and visitors are also welcome to explore the owner’s private tracks around the holiday cottages. Each property has parking space for two cars.

Holiday cottages are bookable from Saturday to Saturday throughout the year. The rental prices include bed linen, duvets and towels , electricity and heating and a welcome pack on arrival.

High chairs and cots are available on request, and well behaved dogs are welcome at £20 per pet per stay all we ask is they are on a lead whilst walking along the tracks

The cottages are within easy reach of Norwich, Fakenham, King's Lynn and north Norfolk coastal towns such as Hunstanton, Brancaster and the delightful village of Burnham Market.

In a truly unspoilt part of North Norfolk, lies the small village of Tattersett. It is a perfect place to relax and unwind whilst enjoying the rural surroundings, and it also offers a restful haven at the end of a day visiting the many nearby attractions. It is also home to Tatt Valley Holiday Cottages: four traditional brick and flint farm barns converted with skill and sensitivity to provide accommodation of the highest standard. 

Tattersett village covers an area of 11.38 square km (4.39 square miles), it lies in one of the loveliest parts of Norfolk, offering the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the peace of this unspoilt corner of East Anglia. It has a population of just about 1000 with just under 400 households. The village is on the north side of the A148 King's Lynn to Cromer road. The River Tat, a tributary of the River Wensum, rises close to the village. 

The Four Winds 

There is a cafe and we also have a local shop in Tattersett (just on the A148 towards Fakenham) in walking distance (0.7 miles main road or even less if you use the farmers track to cut across the field) which caters for everyday needs. 

The nearest pub is (1.9 miles away via the B1454) in Syderstone village The Lynn Arms serving food all day and offering live music at the weekends. Open 5 days a week, closed Mondays and Tuesdays [The Street, Syderstone PE31 8SD].  

The Crown in East Rudham is 5 minutes away by car (2.5 miles via the A148), it is perfect for families or couples and offers award winning food 7 days a week and is reasonably priced.  They also put on theme nights [Lynn Rd, East Rudham, King's Lynn PE31 8RD].

The Plume of Feathers in South Creake is 10 minutes by car (4.9 miles via the B1454 > Bloodgate Hill), it offers pub food and drink 7 days a week [1 Fakenham Rd, South Creake NR21 9PB].

Seven miles to the north is Burnham Market, a delightful village with an attractive green and high street, two renowned restaurants and some excellent and fashionable shops. The traditional market town of Fakenham (5 miles) has a wide range of shops as well as a ten-pin bowling and an old style cinema showing the latest theatre blockbusters.
